Meeting Minutes: Meeting minutes from June 12, 2024 were approved
Fishing Reports: New Browns seem to have “drop shock”. No longer hatchery stupid yet very non-committal
Resident Browns are taking small streamers and tiny nymphs
Hopper / dropper will be coming on soon
Treasurer’s Report: $350 sponsorship to Riverfest
$350 for Rowan Bannwart’s sponsorship to Kalamazoo TU Youth Camp (no invoice yet)
Cobus Creek Project: no progress
Middlebury Old Mill Park Project: Mike has completed narrative and began to finalize the schematics
Mike will continue to complete the requirements for permitting
Mike has secured the logs needed from Middlebury Parks, saved on site
Summer workdays: Trailer has been moved to the worksite. Concerns about flooding now
Water pump won’t start and pole saw won’t stay running, going to shop
July 13 Prep work for rebuilding wall; cut logs transport to bank edge, posts and stick bundles
Aug 3 Backcountry H&A will join for joint workday; assemble and install wall section
Aug 17 Finish wall section and add to other existing structures
Aug 31 possible finish up day- removal of work trailer
Middlebury Riverfest: August 24, 2024. 3-7pm $350 sponsorship
